Founded in 1834 among the majestic Brenta Dolomites, our hotel is now run with the same dedication by the Baldessari family, maintaining its rich historical heritage. Nestled in the heart of San Lorenzo Dorsino, considered one of the most beautiful villages in Italy and a short distance from the picturesque Molveno Lake and Andalo, our family-run hotel is a place rich in history.
From its very earliest days, the establishment was a meeting point for local residents, who gathered to discuss private affairs, public issues, and political topics. This gave rise to the name ‘Opinion’, as it provided a place where everyone was free to express their opinion and take part in collective decisions.
The Hotel is proudly entered in both the register of Italian Historical Residences and the register of Historical Companies of Italy. In spite of renovations over time, our home has managed to retain the characteristics and atmosphere of a bygone era, offering guests an authentic experience of travelling back in time.
